It is perfectly obvious that Theresa May regards Boris Johnson as unfit to be Foreign Secretary.
Of course, she is quite right.
We had all assumed that David Davis would be the first of the Three Brexiteers to fall, resigning on a point of principle.
Then scandal would engulf Liam Fox, as is his wont.
And then Johnson would become just too Boris Johnson, leading to his demise.
Now, however, it is possible that this sequence will be reversed.
Although in either event, the result will be the same.
The old Foreign Secretaryship will be revived, and it will be given to a supporter of the whole of the Prime Minister's programme.
That is to say, it will be given to a die-in-the-last-ditch Remainer.
