No Development

Today brought an excoriating report by the Public Accounts Committee into the incompetence of the Department for International Development in relation to the airport in St Helena.

By signing off on that fatally flawed scheme, the then Secretary of State signed away £285 million, plus the life savings of many St Helenians, and the hopes and dreams of many more.

His name was Andrew Mitchell.

It still is.

And he is now in full cry over Syria.

  1. I wish you were in Parliament, the one man perfectly placed to make this vitally important connection.
