Be On Our Guard

The attack in Berlin should focus our minds on the enormously increased risk of terrorism that would be posed by driverless trains.

There is no doubt that driverless trains are the ultimate destination of trains without guards.

These days, the terrorists would need to do nothing more than hack into the computer system, with no human being in the driver's seat to override them.
