We may be only days away from Theresa May's entry into Downing Street.
If she won more than 50 per cent of the vote among Conservative MPs on Tuesday, then David Cameron might very well pass the Premiership to her there and then.
Further rounds of the Conservative Leadership Election could still be held, if anyone really saw any point.
But May would already be Prime Minister.
