The school, college and university teaching unions have never been affiliated to the Labour Party.
But they have always organised a very high proportion of its members, and as it reverts to its pre-Corbyn size and shape, about half of them.
Think on.
Not that Keir Starmer will. He barely knows the Labour Party.
His own natural constituency.
