The arrest of Peter Murrell, and the raid on the SNP's headquarters, were delayed until after the Leadership Election so as not to spoil things for Humza Yousaf.
Like the alleged corruption itself, there is something reassuringly old school about that. As if a political power couple were in fact a gay man married to a lesbian. Those were the days.
