Shuffle Bored

The position of First Secretary of State is vacant, and I am available.

Beyond that, all that I can find to say about the reshuffle is that I have picked the right evening to get going in earnest on setting up my think tank, my weekly magazine of news and comment, my fortnightly satirical magazine (although after this afternoon, who'd be a satirist?), my monthly cultural review, my quarterly academic journal, my first major international book series, and my Associateship programme.

And to get on with contesting the parliamentary seat of North West Durham at the next General Election and the General Secretaryship of Unite the Union in 2026, of course.

  2. But what about the novels and the hymns?

    1. People are asking about the hymns, so I had better get back to them. The novel is a longer-term project, but it is taking shape nicely.
