Pork Markets No More

The Foreign Secretaryship has been a greatly diminished position ever since Theresa May stripped it of most of its responsibilities so that even Boris Johnson could have it.

Most of those responsibilities were given to the new Department for International Trade, so Liz Truss has been as demoted by promotion as Dominic Raab has been. The wonder is that neither title has been given to Gavin Williamson.

  1. Truss is ridiculously overrated.

    1. Evidently not by Johnson, who has moved her from a proper job to a "Great Office of State". It used to be a proper job, until May oddly felt the need to give it to Johnson, who lasted five minutes even in what little remained of it.
