You can tell that Keir Starmer comes from Surrey. If he were from, say, the North East, then he would know that the Labour Right were the last people in any position to go on about financial sleaze.
As for David Cameron, he has form. With 30 million inherited pounds, he used to make, by those standards, trifling claims for sums that he could perfectly easily have paid out of his own pocket. And now, this. Why does he need a job at all? He doesn't. He is just greedy.
And "Whitehall Departments have been given until Friday to declare whether any officials had second jobs in the private sector"? What? What? What?
