Why did Theresa May hold that ridiculous Press Conference in a warehouse in Grimsby? To show that she can.
To show that she can do these things in front of a captive audience of her supporters' employees, at work, so that they could hardly boo, or heckle, or even just walk out.
And to show that she can then leave without taking questions from the journalists who had travelled 200 miles to be there, by all accounts not without plenty of Grayling.
