The United States Congress intends to mark the
twelfth anniversary of the attacks of 11th September 2001 by voting on whether
or not to arm the people who perpetrated those attacks.
Or, rather, on whether
or not to arm them again.
We know who will be to blame if the Senate votes
for war.
The Clintons.
Just as Gordon Brown, if he had instructed his
backbench followers to oppose British war in 2003, could have stopped it even
without a parliamentary vote, so the Clintons, through their many allies and
courtiers among Democratic Senators, could vote down American war in 2013.
Brown hated Blair that much. But he failed to
act.
The Clintons hate Obama that much. But will they
act?
