Russia, China and Iran

If anything, their vote for these sanctions might very well indicate how little they think of the American obsession with this non-existent problem. If all they have to vote for is this, then fine. But they are weakening their own case as things are deliberately escalated towards war.

Russia, pre-eminent among the Slavs as the gatekeepers of Biblical-Classical civilisation, has no desire to destroy a country with guaranteed representation for Christian communities as old as any in the world, least of all on the say-so of a country which thinks that some (highly contentious) version its own founding ideology is the sum total of Christianity, and behind that another which has come perilously close to success in systematically driving Christianity out of the Holy Land.

China, the oldest continuous civilisation on earth, has no desire to destroy the second-oldest, least of all on the say-so of a country dating only from 1776, and behind that another created within living memory.

France doubtless combines versions of both of these. As, of course should we. Why don't we? How don't we? And when will we?
