Always good to hear from the losers. The Blair years are gone. The Eighties are gone. The Sixties are gone. We have survived them all. You have not. We won. You lost.
What would be the point of Canada getting rid of the Monarchy?
Being an American, I am not a monarchist, but if I was a Canadian I would want to retain the Monarchy as a connection to the best aspects of the British tradition of strong labor unions, worker protections, public ownership, a strong Welfare State, etc., as Mr. Lindsay has noted.
