The Thatcher cultists continue to bang on. Oh, do give it a rest.
Not only have the other parties, including one in the coalition, openly wished her dead for 30 years, but her own party has spent the last 20 pretending that she already was, and it would long ago have ceased to exist if it had not adopted that approach.
Americans are welcome to her. Just ask her every successor as Leader of the Conservative Party. No one wishes more than they do that she had been assassinated in the Eighties.
