What's To Debate?
I am strongly opposed to the pseudo-Presidential Leaders' Debates in the run-up to the General Election. But if they are not shown in Scotland, then the Scottish judiciary's Nationalist activism from the Bench will finally have jumped the shark. There is a perfectly simple possible criterion for participation: to be contesting more than half the seats in the House of Commons. Only three parties will be doing this, of which only one will be contesting every seat in the entire House. Problem solved. And there are only two registers of political parties, one for Great Britain and the other for Northern Ireland. Since it is on the former, the SNP knows what it has to do.

You think that the Scottish judiciary has a nationalist agenda? You could scarcely be further from the truth, David.
ReplyDeleteOh, I'm hardly the only person to have noticed it...
