Or so it appeared on Question Time last night. Osborne may as well have stayed at home.
Congratulations to the man in the audience who dared to point out the lack of political difference between the parties.
And congratulations to Hislop for pointing out that Yvette Cooper's husband is the only reason she's there. He's only been an MP since 2005, yet he has already been promoted further than she has, and may very well be Labour Leader this time next year. Did his father teach Cameron at Eton? To coin a phrase, I think we should be told.

Apart from Hislop and Sarah Teather it was a pretty depressing QT.
ReplyDeleteA couple of people did bring up expenses but were steered away by Dimblebore.
Yet I suspect we might have more of "expenses" as a theme as election approaches.
The "all in this together" mantra might be torn apart also over next few months.
A pity nobody brought up that Dimblebore is only top dog at BBC because of HIS father Richard (before your time of course).
I spose it did Jonothan no harm to write psycophantic books about Prince Charles.
And no.......Im not related to JD thru his wife LOL
Dimbleby is a member of the Bullingdon Club.
