Credibility Gap

So that's that, then. No more troops to Afghanistan until there is "a credible government" there. Which means no more troops to Afghanistan. Which means bringing home the ones who are already there. If not, why not? If so, why not immediately?

    THe claim on last weeks QT that Afghans were responsible for 9/11 and 7/7 went completely unchallenged.
    I guess if a lie is told often enough, people just start believing it.
    The real point of course is that Afghanistan DOES export Death to people in the West....thru the medium of their POPPY CROP.
    The number of deaths caused by Afghan Drugs far outstrips death caused by Afghan Terror.
    Yet oddly those wonderful satellites which can distinguish a fly landing on the nose of an Afghan warlord cannot seem to identify poppy fields.
    Neither can all those helicopters and troops.
    Very odd.
    Its almost as if they did want to find them. Its almost as if western banks were making profits out of laundering it.
