Fish Foul

More quotas set this last week. The Common Fisheries Policy must be abolished. The United Kingdom could effectively do this by restoring the supremacy of British over EU law, and by legislating that this shall include the restoration of our historic, and internationally lawful, fishing rights: two hundred miles or to the median line. The end, even if not always the means, was at least de facto Labour and Lib Dem policy throughout the Thatcher and Major years, when Labour and the Lib Dems voted annually against the CFP, with never so much as a single, solitary rebel. The end, though not the means, was also Tory policy under Iain Duncan Smith. But it is not the policy of any party now. So don't vote for any of them. Make alternative arrangements.
