Harriet Harman For Prime Minister?

Daniel Finkelstein isn't exactly advocating it, but does think that it will happen.

I had a fascinating exchange of emails yesterday and today with a national broadsheet journalist (who contacted me, not the other way round) about joining the dots between the old National Council for Civil Liberties (run, of course, by Harriet Harman and Patricia Hewitt) and the old Campaign for Homosexual Equality, and then putting that together with the undoubted join between the CHE and the old Paedophile Information Exchange. It would be the story of the decade. Everyone knows about this, but it is a matter of tracking down the proof. Fleet Street is now on the case, I can tell you for a fact.

So bring on the Harman For Leader campaign. For then the dominoes really would start to fall. The true origins and character of New Labour would at last be exposed. 25 years on, they finally succeeded in installing an aristocratic sectarian Leftist as Deputy Leader of the Labour Party. Now is round about the twenty-fifth anniversary of when they had pencilled in for that aristocratic sectarian Leftist to become Leader. Don't let them do it. But by all means let them try.
