Brown Weak For Not Sacking Miliband

There really is no arguing with this.

Meanwhile, yet more emails (there have been several, plus several phone calls) saying that everyone who is anyone knows that Miliband has joint British-Israeli nationality.

Given the sources, they cannot all be wrong. The son of the Convenor of the Church of Scotland's Israel Committee has appointed an Israeli citizen as Foreign Secretary.

And now, that Israeli citizen is being lined up to succeed him at the G8, on the UN Security Council, with his finger on the nuclear button, the lot.

  1. The influence of this blog is belied by the stark number of its readers. You have done more to stop Miliband than anybody else. Keep it up.

  2. Very many thanks.

    I certainly will.

  3. You mean "Gordon the Leper", I presume.

  4. In one sense it is weakness but in another as long as Miliband is taking the position of poster child for a post Brown Labour PM Brown looks like the saner option.

  5. David, your sources are at best confused, and at worst malicious. David Miliband is (I believe) ethnically Jewish but non-practising. If he is a Jew, then that automatically entitles him to come to Israel as an immigrant - whether or not he has any interest in doing so. The existence of that right is not his decision. He's not an Israeli citizen now, and has expressed no desire to become one. Your sources appear to be participating in a classic "dual loyalties" antisemitic smear, and I suggest you disassociate yourself from them.

  6. Not a bit of it, Anwar. Nobody has ever suggested that, say, Michael Howard, or Malcolm Rifkind, or Jack Straw was an Israeli citizen. Whereas everyone, and I really do mean everyone, is telling me that Miliband is, and that all those in the know know it.

Woody, we'll miss Brown when he's gone, and we have to put up with Milly or Cameron instead.

  7. Even if this is true, does he really warrant its exposure any more? He's finished.

Well, if "everyone" is telling you this, you'll have no qualms about naming names (safety in numbers and all) so we can check the veracity of your sources.

  9. Disclose sources? Come on!

You'll notice that nodody is denying this outright. We just get the feeble "Oh, he can't be, well, he can be, but he can't be".

    He is.

  10. Since we know that Miliband reads this blog, and he hasn't posted here to deny it, I reckon that makes it an open-and-shut case. If it were false, he'd have said so. Wouldn't he?

  11. Well, you'd have thought that someone would have bothered. I've had furious unprintable comments and emails when I've criticised Millly in the past.

Perhaps all his staff and supporters have joint British-Israeli nationality, too, so think that it is normal?

  12. Oh come on, don't be ridiculous. Of course Miliband doesn't read this blog. He has no idea it exists. You don't honestly believe he has time to follow it, do you?

  13. I'm sure he doesn't (although I don't see what else he has to do), but his camp followers and his enemies certainly do...
