Set your alarm early so as not to miss Laura Kuenssberg's interview with Peter Mandelson. Something tells me that "interview" might be pushing it. And who the hell wants to hear from him? The change of President, nothing more, in Venezuela, and the sabre-rattling over Greenland, were supposed to distract attention from Jeffrey Epstein. Yet here is his closest friend, praising that intervention and cheering on that rattling. For the latter, at least, now does he lose the Labour whip in the House of Lords, and his Labour Party membership card? Ann Limb and Matthew Doyle cannot be sullied by association with his sort.
Limb and Doyle were both exposed by the Sunday Times, and today it carries Karl Turner's suggestion that he might trigger a by-election over the plan to abolish almost all trial by jury and the automatic right of appeal from the Magistrates' Court. In 2008, when David Davis did that over 42-day detention without charge, then he was supported by Shami Chakrabarti? Would she support Turner? If not, why not?
