Unsafe, Improper and Injudicious

Jeremy Corbyn used to be mocked to scorn for having any interest in Latin America. And in the Chagos Islands. And in the Palestinians. Not for his views. For his interest. How is that looking now?

Venezuela is about the oil. We know that, because Donald Trump has said it. And Greenland is next. We know that by the same means. But only in Britain are the self-styled patriots calling on Trump to effect regime change, which would be a very simple thing for him to do here on America's unsinkable aircraft carrier.

Distracted as Stephen Yaxley-Lennon is by the possibility of his suing Nick Lowles of Hope Not Hate, bringing rival gangs of associated paedophiles to the public gallery, he must have failed to notice the fate of Juan Guaidó, María Corina Machado and Edmundo González.

This kind of thing can be pulled off only with traitors in the camp. Delcy Rodríguez, in that case no doubt accompanied by Jorge? Nicolás Maduro's Cuban bodyguards and counterintelligence officers, meaning either Cuba itself, or that something similar was imminent there?

But among the reasons why there will not be a Trumpian coup in Britain is that Trump would not see the need. He regularly expresses his support for Keir Starmer, who regularly returns the endorsement. Their respective fan clubs, such as Starmer's is, are utterly deluded.

Hey, ho. We await the noticeable reduction in drug-related problems in the United States now that the Sol of the Cartel de los Soles has been shown to be far from Invictus. We await Trump's broader crackdown on the possession of machine guns. And we await the practical expressions of his newfound distaste for those who took direct action with a view to overturning the result of a Presidential Election.

  1. Maduro also packed the Supreme Court. The idea!

  2. Hope Not Hate was used by the Reform leadership to vet and help select Reform General Election candidates. Why?
