400 Labour Party stalwarts who had kept or gained their council seats under Jeremy Corbyn are going to lose their allowances on 6th May, and their party is going to lose a vast amount of power to allocate council housing and municipal employment.
Therefore, Corbyn cannot have the Labour Whip, since there are now enough Campaign Group MPs to get him onto the ballot paper without difficulty for this year's Leadership Election. He would win that Leadership Election even more handsomely than he had won both of those which he had contested in the past.
