No Free Pass

Does Assaf Kaplan hold a parliamentary pass? That question needs to be asked on the floor of the House of Commons.

Any Labour candidate has now been vetted by that foreign intelligence operative, who has hunted people of colour as an organised, competitive sport, marking an X on his headset each time that he had killed one from the comfort of his office. Like a video game. But not.

And any Labour candidate has also now been approved by the General Secretary of the Labour Party, David Evans, an employee who has recently been given absolute power over these matters.

Whom might they pass as an acceptable candidate for the key marginal seat of North West Durham? The former MP, who lost the seat last time? Possibly, but probably not.

Leaving, in descending order of likelihood, whatever the right-wing municipal machine would have spat out in 2020 if the 2015 Parliament had run its course, some pretty boy from the football team who was barely old enough to vote and to whom no one had ever say no in his life, and some girl out of the typing pool.

I am better than any of those, and you know it. Hell, even they know it.
