It is a bit of a culture shock for the Conservatives to have to deal with Catholic rather than Anglican clergy as key points of contact along the Red Wall, but it is incomprehensible to the metropolitan liberal elite to have to do anything remotely like it.

Funny how they think men who enforce Levitical menstrual taboos should have the last word on British politics. No-one ever asks "the Chief Rabbi" or "the Board of Deputies" what they believe in general.
