Nigel Farage has blinked. If you want Boris Johnson as Prime Minister, then vote Conservative, as you will be able to do in every constituency. Well, presumably. There is still no Conservative candidate at North West Durham.
There is now no point or purpose to the Brexit Party. It is standing down wherever the Conservatives won last time, including where those winners were hardline Remainers, many of whom are seeking re-election this time. But it is not standing down against Labour Leavers. It is now simply a wholly owned subsidiary of the Conservative Party, and people who want to vote for that are already able to do so.

Another hung Parliament is coming, however, and we need our people to hold the balance of power in it. After nearly 30 years of suggestion, speculation, and even a sort of preparation, I am standing for Parliament here at North West Durham.
