Lent or no Lent, join me in raising a glass on this second anniversary of my arrest and bailing.
Taking me home that evening, the Police actually apologised. A month later, the same Officers were struck dumb when I was charged. The Police have always been on record that they would not have charged me.
The third failed attempt to put me on trial is due to begin at Durham Crown Court on Monday 1st April, appropriately enough. See you there. Then again, based on past form, don't go cancelling any holidays for it.
