Aula Regia?

Jeremy Corbyn holds the anti-monarchist view, but he has never campaigned on the issue.

Whereas a leading republican activist is now the Tory Prime Minister of Australia.

He attended the same Oxford college as David Cameron, before becoming Chairman of the Australian Republican Movement, and now this.

Perhaps it is time to question whether the Rhodes Scholarships are quite serving their original purpose?

Tony Abbott is a royalist. He was once was once head of Australia's monarchist movement.

You obviously mixed him up with someone else.

  3. Abbott's a "lading republican activist". I haven't stopped laughing.

Have you had time to delete this embarrassing post yet?

""Tony Abbott has criticised advocates of a republic for suggesting there is a lack of maturity and independence in Australia’s system of government, after the Australian Republican Movement (ARM) sought to build fresh momentum.

""The staunchly monarchist prime minister predicted the country was unlikely to become a republic “any time soon” and he revealed the treasurer, Joe Hockey, had not spoken to him before agreeing to help lead a new parliamentary friendship group backing change.""
