Auntie Pulls It Off

If anything, assuming that a home could be found for one or two gems, it is BBC Three that should be scrapped. And we should be quite happy that there is no more specific need for the BBC Asian Network. But BBC Six Music is the station that Radio One ought to be, in the way that BBC Four is the channel that BBC Two ought to be. Threatening to scrap Six Music is a clever trick to make cuts, as such, unpopular to the point of mass unacceptability. And it seems to have worked.
