The Pope Is Catholic, The Times Is Not
These two statements are exactly as remarkable as each other, and have been ever since the second came to mean anything, in 1785. Of course The Times is anti-Catholic. That's just The Times. We may only hope that the Holy Father and everyone else pay as much attention to "the newspaper of record" during his visit as they do to the BBC.

Should Rupert (and James) Murdoch be ex-communicated?
ReplyDeleteThe old man has never actually become a Catholic, I think. Taking away his Papal Knighthood should certainly be considered, though. Why would he even want to keep it?
