Rough and Tough

A rough ride at AIPAC for Hillary Clinton, they say.

Well, what if she simply didn't turn up, on the grounds that it just wasn't important enough to warrant her attention, never mind her attendance? Or what if she consolidated this Administration's combination of the best of the Democratic Party's noble tradition in domestic policy with the best of the Republican Party's noble tradition in foreign policy, by echoing Jim Baker's call to "lay aside, once and for all, the unrealistic vision of a Greater Israel" and to "foreswear annexation, stop settlement activity"? Or even if she thanked all those spies for conveniently congregating in one room, and then introduced them to the federal marshalls whom she had brought with her to arrest them for their treason?

One Clinton, on meeting Netanyahu, was moved to ask, "Who is the superpower here?" Let another Clinton answer that one once and for all.
