Cameron was on this morning's Woman's Hour, fully half of which was given over to demands for all sorts of legislative arrangements to rig elections in favour of women who have either made the political choice (for so it is) not to have children in order to pursue high-powered careers, or else done a Thatcher and married millionaires who can pay for all the help in the world in order to get them into Parliament.
For the life of me, I cannot see how any woman who has made the political choice (for so it is) to look after her family full-time is remotely represented by a politician of either of those stripes. Rather, she would be represented by a man whose wife was in her position, or indeed by a single man who could at least see the point of homemaking.
