Any true friend of Canada's will now withdraw from Afghanistan, since the deployment of yet more other forces there is the Canadian Parliament's price for a two-year extension of the current Canadian operation.

Like our own, that is entirely pointless, and has already cost Her Majesty's loyal subjects far, far, far too much in blood and treasure.
