That Paint Must Be Almost Dry By Now

Just how thrilling the Queen's Speech was, as was anything that either of the other parties might have had to say about it, was illustrated by Newsnight's illustrious panel last night: James Purnell, Francis Maude (who actually signed the Maastricht Treaty on this country's behalf, but who is widely assumed to be dead because he is widely assumed to be his father), and Chris Huhne. Not an insomniac in the land: public service broadcasting, and no mistake.
