It’s time for one my “I wouldn’t normally blog about something like this” posts. In the half-hour course of this evening’s Coronation Street, not one but two characters (Jodie Morton and John Stage) who are, though I say so myself, visibly older than I nevertheless declared themselves, in her case “nearly thirty”, and in his “twelve years older” than Rosie Webster, herself “nearly seventeen”.
