The Double-Sided Flag

In Uruguay, Holy Week is officially called Tourism Week and Christmas Day is officially called Family Day. But people feel the need for more. The Pope has arrived there to a rapturous reception.

Meanwhile, in staunchly Catholic Paraguay, President Santiago Peña has been impeached and placed under house arrest after the people took to the streets because of the overnight collapse of Ueno Bank, leaving 60 per cent of Paraguayans without access to their money.

Peña is closely allied to Javier Milei, and this cashless nightmare is what the Nationalist International has in mind for all of us. But the Pope, so robust both on the opportunities and on the dangers of Artificial Intelligence, will be going next to Argentina. On This Rock.
