A Particularly Monstrous, Wicked Thing

Unless Oliver Kamm is lying about his age, or even if he is, then I hope to look a very great deal better than that when I am 59. It was not as if he had a tough paper round.

But anyway, he has lately been laying into Suella Braverman for saying that Britain was being invaded. Well, I am no fan of Braverman, either. But Kamm once claimed that Leave campaigners had murdered a man for speaking Polish.

And what does he make of Keir Starmer's assertion that there were too many foreigners working in the National Health Service? Dog-whistling against Rishi Sunak's background, I reckon. Here on the Red Wall, Starmer thinks that that is what we like. Does Kamm think that, too?

Philip Cross has been banned from Wikipedia. Unless Kamm wanted to talk about that online, in court, or anywhere else, then, as Gavin Williamson might put it, he needs to go away and shut up.
