The murder of Shireen Abu Akleh is the USS Liberty incident of our age, the murder of an American citizen because the Israeli State knows that it can get away with it. It knows that it can even get away with violently desecrating her funeral.
To condemn any of this, as a Bill in the recent Queen’s Speech will soon make illegal, would be a breach of the IHRA Definition. Therefore, to vote for a parliamentary candidate of any party that accepted that Definition would be, and is, to condone both the murder of Shireen Abu Akleh and the violent desecration of her funeral, as well as the attack on the USS Liberty.
