Caught Red-Handed No More?

If it really is all kicking off again in Northern Ireland, then we are about to get out of the place, regardless of whether or not the Republic would be prepared to take it.

One bomb in London, and we would pull out, certainly within six months, and possibly within six weeks. No one would think to ask anyone in Northern Ireland.

The DUP and the tiny handful of seriously Unionist Conservative MPs could do nothing about it, and then the DUP would no longer be there.

London, which bore the brunt last time, never wanted Northern Ireland.

It voted for Ken Livingstone, Jeremy Corbyn and John McDonnell while the More Orange Than The Orangemen of Fleet Street took the nightly train home to the Home Counties.
