Not Unnerved

I have every sympathy with the parents of Dawn Sturgess, and it is important that no recreational drug was found in her body.

No one has been charged in connection with her death, there has been no suggestion of another drop of Novichok in the Salisbury area, the Skripals are alive and (presumably) well, and the workmen who are dismantling Sergei Skripal's house are doing so in ordinary workwear.

But the Sturgesses are absolutely right that the British Government endangered the British people by ever allowing Sergei Skripal into this country in the first place.
