Tony Blair is keeping very quiet. I expect that they have told him not to spoil things by showing his face. So the rest of us need to ask them what they think of him. That would be the end of them.
And nothing from David Miliband, either. A high proportion of Labour's present activist base can have no memory of him. How time flies.
Yet every time that there is a rumour of his return, then the media practically explode with glee. As if it were up to him. As if he could just come back as and when he pleased.
Even Roy Jenkins lost the first by-election of his attempted comeback. He fought on, but that would crush Miliband, who has the bigger ego of a smaller man.
