Side Lines

I am going to keep making this point until people get it.

When Shamima Begum went off to Syria, then she went to fight for the side that was supported by the British Government, and which that Government has never quite stopped supporting in Syria.

From Jeremy Corbyn, to Peter Hitchens, to your humble servant, some of us told you at that time that the so-called Islamic State held the views that Begum has now gone on British television to express, albeit not very well because she is clearly not very bright.

To put it mildly, we received no thanks, just as we have never had or expected any for pointing out that the so-called Islamic State was in fact Saudi Arabia, which is the paymaster of the British foreign policy elite, including an Independent Group that publicly announces this wretched connection by including Mike Gapes.

Nobody disputes what we are saying. Their objection is, and has always been, to the fact that we dare to say it. Hey, ho. Another hung Parliament is coming, and we need our people to hold the balance of power in it.

It has become a local commonplace that I am on 30-30-30 with Labour and the Conservatives here at North West Durham, so that any one of us could be the First Past the Post. I will stand for this seat, if I can raise the £10,000 necessary to mount a serious campaign. Please email davidaslindsay@hotmail.com. Very many thanks.

  1. They didn’t. The US and British have been bombing ISIS. Indeed, when Trump announced US withdrawal, the Kurds begged them to stay and warned it could allow ISIS to regroup.

Where do you get your info from?

    1. We were bombing them in Iraq. We came within a whisker of going to war to ave them in Syria. Right about the time that she went off to join them there.
