Uncivil Is As Uncivil Does

Most of Brexit: The Uncivil War was a bit silly, but it accurately portrayed the fact that Boris Johnson and Michael Gove did not want Leave to win at all.

They wanted to be seen to have backed it, but they did not want it to happen, as it eventually did on the votes of areas, such as this one, that they had simply never considered.

There was also a frank statement that the referendum itself was never supposed to have been held, because there was supposed to have been another hung Parliament in 2015.

Well, another hung Parliament really is coming next time, and we need our people to hold the balance of power in it.

It has become a local commonplace that I am on 30-30-30 with Labour and the Conservatives here at North West Durham, so that any one of us could be the First Past the Post.

I will stand for this seat, if I can raise the £10,000 necessary to mount a serious campaign. Please email davidaslindsay@hotmail.com. Very many thanks.
