Up The Wall

There was never going to be a wall along the southern border of the United States, and Mexico was certainly never going to pay for it.

And there was never going to be a No Deal Brexit. I am not saying that I am glad about that. I am saying that it is a fact.

The EU's other member states were never going to refuse Britain any "extension" that it wanted on Article 50, and the Supreme Court was never going to rule that we simply left anyway on 29th March. That is reality.

Even the Queen says so, pretty much. Well, of course she does. The monarchy keeps sweet a lot of people who need to be kept sweet, but there is a complete mystery as it why it has that effect on them. What has it ever done for them?

Still, Donald Trump should now deliver the State of the Union Address to the Sandringham Women's Institute. It could host numerous such events over the coming decades. The WI always has its eye on the main chance.
