Controlling Influence

I am all for parliamentary control of things in politics. I want a lot of better MPs to exercise it, but that is a different question.

Still, why the Liaison Committee, in particular? It is far too big, for one thing.

Let this Bill be introduced, and then let it be amended so that instead, the House would elect 15 people to take over Brexit, with each MP voting for one candidate, with the top 15 elected, and with the highest scorer taking the Chair.

Would enacting that be a vote of no confidence in the Government? I don't know. Would it?
