My friend Louis Richardson was today acquitted of rape and sexual assault.

There ought to be no anonymity either for adult accusers or for the adult accused. Louis's name has been cleared, and that is as it should be.

But this case has shone a light on the sexual etiquette of the rising generation, not least in and around the Conservative Party. It has not been a pretty sight.
