The Font of Wisdom

My godmother, Mrs Ivy Ellick OBE JP, is battling away on the front page of today's Daily Telegraph.

Auntie Ivy embodies the moral indispensability of the public sector, including when it is rightly maintained out of this country's Overseas Aid budget.

The problems that she describes derived precisely from the lack of resources, as they always do, including on these shores.

Cuts cost.

  1. That'll be where you great it from, excelling even Tom Watson, Simon Danzczuk and John Mann in publishing the facts about New Labour's ties to the Paedophile Information Exchange. I know you say anyone could have done that because it was all in the public domain, but only you ever dared to do it. No wonder You Know Who sacked you. Then this turns up in the Telegraph after it has sacked him. Makes you think, doesn't it?

      You are too kind.

If I were ever to venture into magic realism, then it might be about traits being inherited by godchildren from godparents, through successive generations.
