Angela Rayner did better than Keir Starmer. As Ed Miliband had done better than Keir Starmer. 

It is no disrespect to either of them to say that Starmer is just not very good. As the opinion polls consistently confirm. 

Boris Johnson was awful by the way. But then, he always is. That is a whole other story.
