Fault Lines

This is not the fault of whatever tiny proportion of the American electorate has voted for Jill Stein.

This is the fault of the body that stole the nomination that should have gone to an anti-globalist and anti-war candidate who was not a racist, or a misogynist, or a sexual assailant, or simply Donald Trump.

This is the fault of the Democratic National Committee.

Oh, well, never again let anyone tell you, if you ever did let anyone tell you, that Jeremy Corbyn was unelectable.

And the Cornel West 2020 Campaign starts here. But is America ready for a black President?

  1. Sarah Palin and others say spirit of Brexit spread across the Atlantic.

    Indeed.

  2. Republicans did not just defy almost every projection, prediction and data-rich computer model to win the presidency. They also won the House of Representatives and much of the Senate.

  3. Love that last line. I sometimes use it on David Lammy, "Don't Bernie Grant's constituents ever miss having a black MP?" Jeremy Corbyn and George Galloway are politically blacker than either Obama or Lammy. So was Davey Hopper. So are you.

    1. Gosh, what company. Allow me to add Bernie Sanders and Jill Stein, who are also politically blacker than Obama.
