Audience Participation

If the Question Time audience were indeed bussed in left-wing activists, then Quentin Letts's own newspaper would have run the whole story from aboard the bus by now.

The fact is that Jeremy Corbyn has captured the public imagination like no politician in 20 years, and that he has done so, unlike Tony Blair, before the economic collapse that is undeniably on its way.

Party membership has doubled, all debts have been cleared, a major trade union has reaffiliated, there are weekly increases in council seats in every corner of the country (it was Cornwall last night), and a by-election has been won with the Labour share of the vote increased, with that of the Conservatives halved in seven months, and with UKIP finished off once and for all.
